RorngKe- Jiratchaya Pipoplapanan

RorngKe is a virtual karaoke center, developed from the Choir Practices collection of Soi Convent[ion]’s Act1: Collections. The center provides free online karaoke songs with a mock-up service from people on Convent street. Launched on the Smule application, it invites everybody to sing a solo, a duet, or group karaoke of their requested songs with/without the Convent alley ambience. During its 3-month operation aims to tweak a boundary of a new normal hangout and play with the absence of physical space and interaction through sound.

ร้องเกะ (RorngKe) เป็นศูนย์คาราโอเกะเสมือนจริงที่พัฒนาขึ้นจากคอลเลคชั่น Choir Practices ซึ่งแจกจ่ายใน Act1: Collections จาก Soi Convent[ion] pavillion ร้องเกะให้บริการเพลงคาราโอเกะฟรี บนแอพพลิเคชั่น Smule! พร้อมบริการจำลองจากผู้คนในซอยคอนแวนต์ ร้องเกะเชิญชวนทุกท่านมาร่วมร้องเพลงเดี่ยว ร้องคู่ หรือร้องกลุ่ม กับคาราโอเกะเพลงโปรดที่มี (หรือจะไม่มีก็ได้) เสียงบรรยากาศของซอยคอนแวนต์เป็นเสียงประกอบ ตลอดช่วงระยะเวลา 3 เดือนของการเปิดทำการ ร้องเกะมีเป้าหมายเพื่อทดลองและปรับเปลี่ยนขอบเขตของสถานบันเทิงในสภาวะความปรกติใหม่ (New Normal) อีกทั้งต่อเติมการขาดหายของปฎิสัมพันธ์ในพื้นที่ทางกายภาพผ่านการใช้เสียง เชิญชวนทุกท่านมาแฮงค์เอาท์และส่งคำขอเพลงมาได้ที่ j.lapanan@gmail.com

Jiratchaya Lapanan graduated with a BFA in Communication Design from the School of Architecture and Design (KMUTT) in Bangkok. Her interdisciplinary practice spans writing, sketch, biomorphic, direct cinema, and music. She explores topics such as aesthetics, interpretations, fictions and phenomenology. Jiratchaya recently wrote, directed and produced the short film ‘Stripes and a Spider’s Web’ and performed in Be-Coming Tree Live Art Event. Now she is working as a freelance florist and a broomer at Baan Boon Brooms.

อมยิ้ม จิรัชญา พิภพลาภอนันต์ จบการศึกษาจากคณะสถาปัตยกรรม สาขานิเทศศิลป์ (Communication Design) มหาวิทยาลัยพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ณ กรุงเทพฯ เธอนิยามตัวเองในฐานะคนทำงานศิลปะแบบสหสาขาในด้านการเขียน ภาพร่าง รูปทรงของสรรพสิ่ง แบบบันทึกวิดีโอและดนตรี โดยแนวคิดในผลงานของเธอมักเกี่ยวข้องกับสุนทรียศาสตร์ การตีความ สิ่งสมมุติและอัตลักษณ์ รวมถึงปรากฎการณ์วิทยา ผลงานล่าสุด อมยิ้มเขียนบท กำกับการแสดงและอำนวยการผลิตภาพยนตร์สั้น ‘Stripes and a Spider’s Web’ และเข้าร่วมแสดงในนิทรรศการศิลปะ Be-Coming Tree Live Art Event ในปัจจุบันเธอทำงานเป็นนักจัดดอกไม้อิสระและทีมของร้านไม้กวาดบ้านบูรณ์
